James Hutchings' guide to the inhabitants, places, gods and monsters of the great city of Teleleli and the islands around.
Dude, I respect you, but would this fly if it were: The Only Correct Response To All Debates About Politics:"Well, it's all personal taste isn't it?"Nope. We can make definite factual assertions, we can use examples, we can talk about what we value and what we don't, we can talk about our desires, our goals. We can talk about what we want from said writing and what it seems to be giving us. Basically we can have a conversation. And that's good, right? The problem is when authorities try to marginalize genre writing as unimportant, because they don't recognize that the writing they value is just another genre.
I think you might be right in theory, but I think I'm right in practice :)
